My name is Alex Marques Carneiro, a visual artist based in Porto, Portugal.

My work explores emotional experiences through abstract compositions and mixed media techniques, using paper, wood and recycled materials.

Each piece is an introspective journey, where color and texture express what words cannot.

I am self-taught and I feel that gives me a sense of creative freedom. I follow my instinct and stay open to any material or technique a piece calls for.
