FAQ's
Where do you ship your artwork?
Sales through this website are exclusively for the Portuguese market.
For international orders, my work is available through my Saatchi Art page.
Email me if there is any doubt.
How are the artworks shipped?
Shipping is handled via CTT Expresso, UPS, or a courier, depending on the size of the piece and the delivery location.
How long does shipping take?
After purchase, the artwork leaves the studio within 5 business days. With CTT Expresso, delivery usually takes 1-2 business days (this may vary depending on the time of year). With courier delivery, shipments to the North, Central, and South regions of Portugal go out weekly, and the exact date is arranged directly with me based on the courier's route.
What happens if a piece arrives damaged?
While I'm not responsible for how the artwork is handled during transport, I'm always available to look at the damage together and find the best solution.
Can I visit the studio to see the artwork in person?
Yes, by appointment, in Porto.
Can I commission a custom piece?
The first commission I did left me a bit uncomfortable, as I felt the client's expectations weighing on me, and that it could take away my freedom to create, which I believe would not lead to my best work, and that is something I will always fight for.
Meanwhile, I learned that I could take on commissions from clients who challenge me to create a piece personalized for their space, as long as our points of view are aligned. This lets me keep the creative freedom that is the foundation of all my work, and of art in general in my view, while also respecting the integrity of the space the piece is made for.
What materials do you work with?
I mainly work with acrylic, watercolor, plaster, wood, and various upcycled materials.
Are there tax implications when purchasing artwork?
Since January 1, 2022, Portuguese law provides that companies with organized accounting that purchase goods or services from self-employed professionals — such as visual artists — may be subject to Social Security contribution obligations. This responsibility falls on the purchasing company, not on the artist, who has no legal obligation to disclose it. (Reference: Decree-Law No. 105/2021 and Decree-Law No. 64/2022.)
